  "text": "European Council Decision\nof 30 August 2014\nelecting the President of the European Council\n(2014/638/EU)\nTHE EUROPEAN COUNCIL,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the European Union, and in particular Article 15(5) thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 30 November 2014, the term of office of the current President of the European Council Mr Herman VAN ROMPUY will come to an end.\n(2)\nA new President of the European Council should therefore be elected,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
