  "heading": "General provisions",
  "text": "1. The Trade and Sustainable Development Sub-Committee established in accordance with Article 240 of the Association Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community and their Member States, of the one part, and Georgia, of the other part (‘the Agreement’) shall assist the Association Committee in Trade configuration, as set out in Article 408(4) of the Agreement (‘the Association Committee in Trade configuration’), in the performance of its duties.\n2. The Trade and Sustainable Development Sub-Committee shall perform the functions set out in Chapter 13 (Trade and Sustainable Development) of Title IV (Trade and trade-related matters) of the Agreement.\n3. The Trade and Sustainable Development Sub-Committee shall be composed of representatives of the European Commission and of Georgia, responsible for trade and sustainable development matters.\n4. A representative of the European Commission or of Georgia who is responsible for trade and sustainable development matters shall act as Chair of the Trade and Sustainable Development Sub-Committee in accordance with Article 2.\n5. The term ‘the Parties’ in these Rules of Procedure shall be defined as provided for in Article 428 of the Agreement.",
