  "text": "Council Decision (CFSP) 2015/260\nof 17 February 2015\nextending the mandate of the European Union Special Representative for Human Rights\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 33 and Article 31(2) thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 25 June 2012, the Council adopted the EU Strategic Framework on Human Rights and Democracy and the EU Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy.\n(2)\nOn 25 July 2012, the Council adopted Decision 2012/440/CFSP appointing Mr Stavros LAMBRINIDIS as the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) for Human Rights. The EUSR mandate has been extended by Council Decision 2014/385/CFSP and is to expire on 28 February 2015.\n(3)\nThe mandate of the EUSR should be extended for a further period of 24 months,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
