# Commission Decision (EU) 2015/547 of 1 April 2015 on the safety requirements to be met by European standards for alcohol-powered flueless fireplaces pursuant to Directive 2001/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on general product safety (Text with EEA relevance), Division: Mounting systems

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

Mounting systems supplied with the alcohol-powered flueless fireplace shall have sufficient mechanical strength and resistance to high temperatures to support the fireplace safely during its expected lifetime.
If the appliance is designed to be fixed to the floor, the wall or the ceiling, the system for fixing/mounting it shall be designed so as to prevent the appliance from coming loose accidentally.
