  "text": "Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/568\nof 7 April 2015\namending Annex I to Implementing Decision 2012/725/EU as regards the definition of bovine lactoferrin\n(notified under document C(2015) 2173)\n(Only the English text is authentic)\nTHE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,\nHaving regard to Regulation (EC) No 258/97 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 January 1997 concerning novel foods and novel food ingredients, and in particular Article 7 thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nCommission Implementing Decision 2012/725/EU authorises the placing on the market of bovine lactoferrin as a novel food ingredient.\n(2)\nAnnex I to Implementing Decision 2012/725/EU lays down the specifications for bovine lactoferrin. Those specifications contain a definition of bovine lactoferrin. This definition should be amended to better describe the authorised novel food ingredient.\n(3)\nImplementing Decision 2012/725/EU should therefore be amended accordingly.\n(4)\nThe measures provided for in this Decision are in accordance with the opinion of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
