  "text": "Council Decision (EU) 2015/947\nof 15 June 2015\nappointing two Portuguese members and one Portuguese alternate member of the Committee of the Regions\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 305 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal of the Portuguese government,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 26 January and on 5 February 2015, the Council adopted Decisions (EU) 2015/116 and (EU) 2015/190 appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2015 to 25 January 2020.\n(2)\nTwo members' seats on the Committee of the Regions have become vacant following the end of the terms of office of Mr Alberto João CARDOSO GONÇALVES JARDIM and Mr António Luís DOS SANTOS DA COSTA.\n(3)\nOne alternate member's seat has become vacant following the end of the term of office of Mr João CUNHA E SILVA,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
