  "text": "A contract staff member may be called upon to occupy temporarily a post which is in a higher grade than his or her own. At the beginning of the second month of such a temporary posting, the contract staff member shall receive a differential allowance equal to the difference between the remuneration of his or her own grade and step, and that of the first step of the grade of the temporary posting.\nThe duration of a temporary posting shall not exceed one year, except where, directly or indirectly, the posting is to replace a contract staff member who is seconded to another post, or absent on prolonged sick leave.",
