Article 15 Salary advances and reimbursement

Unless decided otherwise by the Director, the Institute's Head of Administration and Personnel may, depending on available cash resources, authorise interest-free advances to contract staff members who find themselves in unforeseen personal financial difficulties.

The amount of this advance shall not exceed 3 months' net basic salary.

Such advances shall be repaid by monthly deductions from staff members' remuneration; repayment of the advances must be completed within 12 months of the end of the month in which the advance was granted.
