# Council Decision (CFSP) 2016/1182 of 18 July 2016 concerning the Staff Regulations of the European Union Institute for Security Studies, Article 36

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. The Staff Committee shall represent all the employees of the Institute, as defined in Article 1.
2. The Staff Committee shall:
(a) defend the professional interests of all employees of the Institute;
(b) make proposals for improving the well-being of all employees;
(c) make suggestions regarding social, cultural and sporting activities for the staff;
(d) represent all employees vis-à-vis staff associations of other international organisations.
3. Terms of reference implementing this Article shall be established by the Director after consultation of the employees.
