  "text": "For the selection of experts, the Agency may apply the provisions of Article 287 of Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1268/2012, subject to any specific procedure laid down in the basic act of the programme the implementation of which is entrusted to the Agency. Such experts shall be paid on the basis of a fixed amount announced in advance and shall be chosen on the basis of their professional capacity.\nExternal experts shall be selected on the basis of skills, experience and knowledge appropriate to carry out the tasks assigned to them and in accordance with the principles of non-discrimination, equal treatment and absence of conflict of interest.",
