  "text": "Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/543\nof 17 July 2015\napproving the adjustment programme of Greece (2015/1182)\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,\nHaving regard to Regulation (EU) No 472/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013 on the strengthening of economic and budgetary surveillance of Member States in the euro area experiencing or threatened with serious difficulties with respect to their financial stability, and in particular Article 7(2) thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the European Commission,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nRegulation (EU) No 472/2013 sets rules for the approval of a macro-economic adjustment programme for a Member State in receipt of financial assistance, including from the European Financial Stabilisation Mechanism (EFSM). These rules need to be consistent with the provisions of Council Regulation (EU) No 407/2010 establishing the EFSM.\n(2)\nGreece has been granted financial assistance from the EFSM by Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/542 on granting short-term Union financial assistance to Greece.\n(3)\nFor reasons of consistency, the approval of the macroeconomic adjustment programme for Greece under Regulation (EU) No 472/2013 should be done by reference to the relevant provisions of Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/542,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
