# Council Decision (EU) 2016/769 of 21 April 2016 on the acceptance of the Amendments to the 1998 Protocol to the 1979 Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution on Persistent Organic Pollutants, Division 4: Paragraph 6 shall be deleted and replaced by the following text and footnote:


‘6.
Emissions of PCDD/F are given in total toxic equivalents (TEQ). The toxic equivalence factor values to be used for the purposes of this Protocol shall be consistent with applicable international standards, including the World Health Organization 2005 mammalian toxic equivalence factor values for PCDD/F.’
