THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2017/1001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 June 2017 on the European Union trade markf1 and in particular Article 166(1) thereof,
Whereas on 1 December 2016, a list of candidates to the post of chairperson of a Board of Appeal of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (‘the Office’) was submitted to the Council by the Management Board of the Office,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
