Division 5 New subparagraphs (d), (e) and (f) are added after subparagraph (c) as follows:

1. (d)

   ‘For particulate matter:

   1. (i)

      For Parties within the geographical scope of EMEP, the critical levels of particulate matter, as given in annex I;

   2. (ii)

      For Canada, the Canadian Ambient Air Quality Standards for particulate matter; and

   3. (iii)

      For the United States of America, the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for particulate matter;

2. (e)

   For Parties within the geographical scope of EMEP, the critical levels of ammonia, as given in annex I; and

3. (f)

   For Parties within the geographical scope of EMEP, the acceptable levels of air pollutants to protect materials, as given in annex I.’
