Paragraph 3 Meetings

Save as otherwise agreed by the Parties, the SPS Sub-Committee shall meet within three months of the entry into force of the Agreement and, thereafter, upon the request of either Party or at least once a year.

Each meeting of the SPS Sub-Committee shall be convened by the Chair on a date and in a place agreed by the Parties. The notice regarding the convening of the meeting shall be issued by the Chair no later than 28 calendar days prior to the start of the meeting, unless the Parties agree otherwise.

Whenever possible, regular meetings of the SPS Sub-Committee shall be convened in due time in advance of the regular meeting of the Association Committee in its Trade configuration.

The meetings of the SPS Sub-Committee may be held by any agreed technological means, such as video- or audio-conference.

When out of session, the SPS Sub-Committee may address any issue by correspondence.
