  "text": "DRAFT\nDECISION No 2/2017 OF THE EU-REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN COOPERATION COUNCIL\nof …\non the establishment of three specialised subcommittees\nTHE EU-REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN COOPERATION COUNCIL,\nHaving regard to the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, of the other part (‘the Agreement’), and in particular Article 269(6) thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nIn accordance with Article 281(3) of the Agreement, parts of the Agreement have been applied provisionally as of 1 May 2016.\n(2)\nPursuant to Article 269(6) of the Agreement, the Cooperation Council may decide to set up specialised subcommittees or any other bodies that can assist it in carrying out its duties.\n(3)\nPursuant to Article 25(3) of the Agreement, the Cooperation Council is to establish a Subcommittee on Customs Cooperation.\n(4)\nIn order to allow for expert level discussions on the key areas falling within the scope of the provisional application of the Agreement, two specialised subcommittees should be established.\n(5)\nUpon agreement of the Parties, it should be possible to modify the list of subcommittees,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:\nDone at …,\nFor the Cooperation Council\nThe Chair",
