  "text": "Council Decision (EU) 2017/798\nof 25 April 2017\nauthorising the opening of negotiations with the Government of Japan for an agreement on cooperation in the area of competition policy between the European Union and the Government of Japan\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Articles 103 and 352, in conjunction with Article 218(3) and (4) thereof,\nHaving regard to the recommendation from the European Commission,\nWhereas negotiations should be opened with a view to concluding an agreement between the European Union and the Government of Japan on cooperation in the area of competition policy,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
