# Council Decision (CFSP) 2017/824 of 15 May 2017 concerning the Staff Regulations of the European Union Satellite Centre, Article 29: Pension schemes

1. The rules and conditions contained in the Pension Schemes Rules of the SATCEN, in accordance with the Pension Scheme Rules of the Coordinated Organisations, are applied to the staff members of the SATCEN. The New Pension Scheme (NPS) of the SATCEN applies to staff members who have taken up duty after 30 June 2005.
2. All contributions from staff and the SATCEN made in application of paragraph 1, shall sustain the Pension Reserve Fund and shall be managed in accordance with the SATCEN's Financial Rules.
