  "text": "Council Decision (CFSP) 2017/917\nof 29 May 2017\namending Decision 2013/255/CFSP concerning restrictive measures against Syria\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 31 May 2013, the Council adopted Decision 2013/255/CFSP concerning restrictive measures against Syria.\n(2)\nOn 27 May 2016, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2016/850, extending the restrictive measures set out in Decision 2013/255/CFSP until 1 June 2017.\n(3)\nOn the basis of a review of Decision 2013/255/CFSP, the restrictive measures should be further extended until 1 June 2018.\n(4)\nThe entries for certain persons, entities and bodies subject to restrictive measures as set out in Annex I to Decision 2013/255/CFSP should be updated and amended.\n(5)\nDecision 2013/255/CFSP and Annex I to Decision 2013/255/CFSP should therefore be amended accordingly,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
