  "text": "Council Decision (EU) 2018/1255\nof 18 September 2018\nappointing three members and four alternate members, proposed by the Slovak Republic, of the Committee of the Regions\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 305 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal of the Slovak Government,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 26 January 2015, 5 February 2015 and 23 June 2015, the Council adopted Decisions (EU) 2015/116, (EU) 2015/190 and (EU) 2015/994 appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2015 to 25 January 2020. On 17 February 2017, by Council Decision (EU) 2017/312, Mr Radoslav ČUHA was replaced by Mr Miroslav BENKO as an alternate member.\n(2)\nThree members' seats on the Committee of the Regions have become vacant following the end of the term of office of Mr Pavol FREŠO, Mr Augustín HAMBÁLEK and Mr István ZACHARIAŠ.\n(3)\nFour alternate members' seats on the Committee of the Regions have become vacant following the end of the term of office of Mr Martin BERTA, Mr Tibor MIKUŠ, Mr Miroslav BENKO and Mr Richard TAKÁČ,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
