Council Decision (CFSP) 2018/1656

of 6 November 2018

amending Decision (CFSP) 2017/2074 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Venezuela

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,

Whereas:

(1)

On 13 November 2017, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2017/2074f1 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Venezuela.

(2)

On the basis of a review of Decision (CFSP) 2017/2074, the restrictive measures should be renewed until 14 November 2019.

(3)

The statement of reasons for one person listed in Annex I to Decision (CFSP) 2017/2074 should be amended.

(4)

Decision (CFSP) 2017/2074 should therefore be amended accordingly,
