Usage of certificates:

1. 3.1.

   Once the certificate is issued, the national authority^f1, shall use the certificate only in the context of TACHOnet. The certificate can be used to:

   1. (a)

      authenticate the origin of data;

   2. (b)

      encrypt data;

   3. (c)

      ensure detection of integrity breaches of data.

2. 3.2.

   Any usage not explicitly authorised as part of the permitted usages of the certificate is prohibited.
