  "text": "Civil society engagement on gender-mainstreaming small arms control will be strengthened and their level of activity to promote the issue will be increased significantly. Support for gender-responsive small arms control efforts will be strengthened at the local level, communities will be sensitised to the relevance of the issue, local research will be undertaken and follow-up actions will be taken at the grass-roots level to address issues pertinent to the use and misuse of small arms. Civil society engagement will also be strengthened in the WPS framework and at the PoA meetings, and gender-specific considerations in the political small arms process will be promoted.",
