# Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/397 of 8 March 2018 on the launch of automated data exchange with regard to vehicle registration data in Portugal, Article 1

For the purposes of automated searching of vehicle registration data, Portugal is entitled to receive and supply personal data pursuant to Article 12 of Decision 2008/615/JHA as from 15 March 2018.
