Division 5 DATA NEEDS

To deliver border surveillance intelligence, Frontex shall collect data from a broad range of sources and shall generate added value through its data fusion service.

The service shall use the following data inputs:

1. (a)

   satellite imagery (both optical and radar imagery);

2. (b)

   data from specialized Vessel Detection Systems;

3. (c)

   meteorological information;

4. (d)

   intelligence information.
