Division 2.5 Copernicus Data and Information Policy

The use of the data shall be subject to a legal notice which shall indicate that:

1. (a)

   users have a free, full and open access to Copernicus Sentinel Data and Service Information without any express or implied warranty, including as regards quality and suitability for any purpose;

2. (b)

   Union law grants free access to Copernicus Sentinel Data and Service Information for the purpose of the following use in so far as it is lawful:

   1. (1)

      reproduction;

   2. (2)

      distribution;

   3. (3)

      communication to the public;

   4. (4)

      adaptation, modification and combination with other data and information;

   5. (5)

      any combination of points (1) to (4).

3. (c)

   by using Sentinel Data or Service Information the user shall acknowledge that these conditions are applicable to him/her and that the user renounces to any claims for damages against the Union and the providers of that data and information.
