Division 3.9 Development activities aimed at mitigating operational risks

In ensuring the protection of Copernicus satellites against the risk of collision ESA and EUMETSAT shall take into account the Union Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) support framework established under Decision No 541/2014/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council^f1. The respective measures shall have their bearing on the Copernicus Space Component with the inclusion of a function to provide SST services to spacecraft operators and public authorities.
