Division 6.4 Establishment of Technical requirements for new dedicated missions

Whenever the option for new dedicated missions is selected, a mission analysis shall be conducted which includes:

1. (a)

   Elaboration of the Mission statement based on the Data requirements, including expected performance;

2. (b)

   Technical requirements specification;

3. (c)

   Identification of possible mission concepts;

4. (d)

   Assessment of programmatic aspects;

5. (e)

   Risk Assessment.

The outcome of this analysis shall be detailed in a Mission Requirements Document and forms the basis for possible further satellite development and operations phases.
