# Commission Decision (EU) 2018/753 of 22 May 2018 confirming the participation of Ireland in Directive 2013/33/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down standards for the reception of applicants for international protection, Article 1

1. The participation of Ireland in Directive 2013/33/EU is confirmed.
2. Directive 2013/33/EU shall apply to Ireland in accordance with this Decision from 24 May 2018.
