  "text": "Council Decision (CFSP) 2018/89\nof 22 January 2018\namending Decision (CFSP) 2016/849 concerning restrictive measures against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof,\nHaving regard to Council Decision (CFSP) 2016/849 of 27 May 2016 concerning restrictive measures against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and repealing Decision 2013/183/CFSP,\nHaving regard to the proposal of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 27 May 2016 the Council adopted Decision (CSFP) 2016/849.\n(2)\nIn view of the continued and accelerated nuclear and ballistic programmes of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), which are in breach of the DPRK's obligations as set out in several United Nations Security Council Resolutions, as evidenced by the most recent ballistic missile launch by the DPRK on 28 November 2017, 17 persons should be added to the list of persons and entities in Annex III of Decision (CFSP) 2016/849.\n(3)\nAnnex III to Decision (CFSP) 2016/849 should therefore be amended accordingly,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
