Division Clinical Criteria

Any person with at least one of the following clinical forms:

  • Bubonic plague:

    • Fever

      AND

    • Sudden onset of painful lymphadenitis

  • Septicaemic plague:

    • Fever

  • Pneumonic plague:

    • Fever

    AND

    At least one of the following three:

    • Cough

    • Chest pain

    • Haemoptysis
