  "text": "DRAFT 1\nDECISION No 1/2018 OF THE EU-MEXICO JOINT COUNCIL\nof …\namending Decision No 2/2000\nTHE JOINT COUNCIL,\nHaving regard to the Economic Partnership, Political Coordination and Cooperation Agreement between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the United Mexican States, of the other part (the ‘Global Agreement’), and in particular Articles 5 and 10 in conjunction with Article 47 thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nFollowing the accession of the Republic of Croatia (‘Croatia’) to the European Union on 1 July 2013, the Third Additional Protocol to the Global Agreement was signed in … on … and is applicable since ….\n(2)\nIn view of that, it is necessary to adapt, with effect from the date on which Croatia acceded to the Global Agreement, certain provisions of Decision No 2/2000, as amended by Decisions No 3/2004 and No 2/2008, concerning trade in goods, certification of origin and government procurement.\n(3)\nArticles 5, 6, 7, 10 and 47 of the Global Agreement empower the Joint Council established under Article 45 of the Global Agreement to take decisions for the purpose of attaining the objectives of the Global Agreement, and in particular to decide on the appropriate arrangements and timetable related to trade in goods, trade in services and public procurement,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:\nDone at …,\nFor the Joint Council\nThe President",
