  "text": "Commission Decision (EU) 2019/1168\nof 5 July 2019\non the appointment of members of the Committee of Senior Labour Inspectors for a new term of office\nTHE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,\nHaving regard to the Commission Decision 95/319/EC of 12 July 1995 setting up a Committee of Senior Labour Inspectors, and in particular Article 5 thereof,\nHaving regard to the names of nominees submitted by the Member States,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nArticle 5(1) of the Decision 95/319/EC provides that the Committee shall comprise one full member per Member State and that one alternate member may be appointed for each full member.\n(2)\nArticle 5(2) of that Decision provides that the full and alternate members of the Committee shall be appointed by the Commission on a proposal by the Member State.\n(3)\nArticle 5(3) of that Decision provides that the term of office of the members of the Committee shall be three years and that their appointment shall be renewable.\n(4)\nThe Committee's previous term of office ended on 31 December 2018.\n(5)\nThe Commission has consequently to appoint the members of this Committee on the basis of the proposals by the Member States for a period of three years,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
