  "text": "DRAFT\nDECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No …\nof …\namending Annex IX (Financial services) to the EEA Agreement\nTHE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,\nHaving regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nRegulation (EU) No 909/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on improving securities settlement in the European Union and on central securities depositories and amending Directives 98/26/EC and 2014/65/EU and Regulation (EU) No 236/2012, as corrected by OJ L 349, 21.12.2016, p. 8, is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.\n(2)\nAnnex IX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:\nDone at Brussels,\nFor the EEA Joint Committee\nThe President\nThe Secretaries to the EEA Joint Committee",
