Council Decision (CFSP) 2019/135

amending Decision 2011/72/CFSP concerning restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities in view of the situation in Tunisia

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,

Whereas:

(1)

On 31 January 2011 the Council adopted Decision 2011/72/CFSP^f1 concerning restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities in view of the situation in Tunisia.

(2)

On the basis of a review of Decision 2011/72/CFSP, the restrictive measures should be extended until 31 January 2020 and the entry for one person should be removed.

(3)

Decision 2011/72/CFSP should therefore be amended accordingly,
