  "heading": "Preservation of proof of origin and supporting documents",
  "text": "1. The exporter applying for the issue of a movement certificate EUR.1 shall keep the documents referred to in Article 18(3) of this Protocol for at least three (3) years.\n2. Exporters making out an origin declaration shall keep a copy of that origin declaration as well as the documents referred to in Article 21(3) of this Protocol for at least three (3) years.\n3. Suppliers making out an origin declaration shall keep copies of the declaration and of the invoice, delivery notes or other commercial documents to which this declaration is annexed, as well as the documents referred to in Article 27(9) of this Protocol, for at least three (3) years.\n4. The customs authorities of the exporting country issuing a movement certificate EUR.1 shall keep the application form referred to in Article 18(2) of this Protocol for at least three (3) years.\n5. The customs authorities of the importing country shall keep the movement certificates EUR.1 and the origin declarations submitted to them for at least three (3) years.",
