# Council Decision (EU) 2019/1581 of 16 September 2019 on the submission, on behalf of the European Union, of proposals to amend Appendices I and II to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) with a view to the thirteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties, Article 1

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

1. With a view to the thirteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals, the Union shall submit the following proposals:
(a) amend Appendix I to the Convention to include the species Tetrax tetrax;
(b) amend Appendix II to the Convention to include the species Tetrax tetrax, Galeorhinus galeus and Sphyrna zygaena.
2. The Commission, on behalf of the Union, shall communicate the proposals referred to in paragraph 1 to the Secretariat of the Convention.
