We note the development of integrated approaches to maritime governance and the importance of strengthening our cooperation with the relevant maritime sectors and bodies in order to move towards more holistic management of our seas, with the objective of achieving good environmental status of marine waters in accordance with the EU Marine Strategy Framework Directivef1.
