The joint controllers shall communicate any personal data breaches with regard to the processing operation in the federation gateway to the Commission, to the competent supervisory authorities and, where required so, to data subjects, in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 or following notification by the Commission.
