  "text": "Commission Decision (EU) 2019/2006\nof 29 November 2019\non the participation of Ireland in Regulation (EU) 2018/1727 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust)\nTHE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,\nHaving regard to Protocol No 21 on the position of the United Kingdom and Ireland in respect of the area of freedom, security and justice, annexed to the Treaty on European Union and to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 4 thereof,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nBy letter to the Secretary General of the European Commission, registered on 9 September 2019, Ireland notified its intention to participate in Regulation (EU) 2018/1727 of the European Parliament and of the Council.\n(2)\nSince there are no specific conditions attached to the participation of Ireland in Regulation (EU) 2018/1727, there is no need for transitional measures.\n(3)\nThe participation of Ireland in Regulation (EU) 2018/1727 should therefore be confirmed.\n(4)\nRegulation (EU) 2018/1727 entered into force on 11 December 2018 and applies from 12 December 2019.\n(5)\nPursuant to Article 4 of Protocol No 21, this Decision should enter into force as a matter of urgency on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
