For statistical purposes, hatcheries are limited to the production of fertilised eggs. Further juveniles stages of aquatic animals are considered being produced in nurseries. These structures may be floating, suspended or fixed to the substrate but still permitting water interchange from below (COM(2006) 864 of 19 July 2007).\n‘On-bottom’ techniques cover shellfish farming in inter-tidal areas (directly on the ground or surelevated).\nFish farming techniques\nPolyculture\nHatcheries and nurseries\nShellfish farming techniques\nPonds\nTanks and raceways\nEnclosures and pens\nRecirculation systems\nOther methods\nCages\nAll methods\nOff-bottom\nOn-bottom\nOther\nRafts\nLong line\nSalmon\nTrout\nSea bass & Sea bream\nCarp\nTuna\nEel\nSturgeon (Eggs for human consumption)\nOther fresh water fish\nOther marine fish\nMussel\nOyster\nClam\nCrustaceans\nOther molluscs\nMultispecies\nSeaweeds\nOther aquatic organisms\nTable 10\nEconomic and social variables for the processing industry sector that may be collected on a voluntary basis\nThis Table replaces Table 11 of Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/1251.\nVariable group\nVariable\nUnit\nECONOMIC VARIABLES\nIncome\nTurnover\nPounds sterling\nOther income\nPounds sterling\nPersonnel Costs\nPersonnel costs\nPounds sterling\nValue of unpaid labour\nPounds sterling\nPayment for external agency workers (optional)\nPounds sterling\nEnergy costs\nEnergy costs\nPounds sterling\nRaw material costs\nPurchase of fish and other raw material for production\nPounds sterling\nOther operational costs\nOther operational costs\nPounds sterling\nSubsidies\nOperating subsidies\nPounds sterling\nSubsidies on investments\nPounds sterling\nCapital costs\nConsumption of fixed capital\nPounds sterling\nCapital value\nTotal value of assets\nPounds sterling\nFinancial results\nFinancial income\nPounds sterling\nFinancial expenditures\nPounds sterling\nInvestments\nNet Investments\nPounds sterling\nDebt\nDebt\nPounds sterling\nEmployment\nNumber of persons employed\nNumber\nFTE National\nNumber\nUnpaid labour\nNumber\nNumber of hours worked by employees and unpaid workers\nNumber\nNumber of enterprises\nNumber of enterprises (1)\nNumber\nweight of raw material (OPTIONAL)\nweight of raw material per species and origin (OPTIONAL)\nKg\nSOCIAL VARIABLES\nEmployment by gender\nNumber\nEmployment by age\nNumber\nEmployment by education level\nNumber per education level\nEmployment by nationality\nNumber per country in the world\nFTE National\nNumber",
