# Council Decision (EU) 2020/1026 of 24 April 2020 on the signing, on behalf of the Union, and provisional application of the Agreement on civil aviation safety between the European Union and Japan, Article 6

The Agreement shall be applied on a provisional basis as from the date of the signing thereof, pending the completion of the procedures necessary for its entry into force.
