  "text": "Council Decision (CFSP) 2020/1726\nof 14 September 2020\non the signing and conclusion, on behalf of the Union, of the Framework Agreement between the European Union and the United Nations for the Provision of Mutual Support in the context of their respective missions and operations in the field\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 37 thereof, in conjunction with Article 218(5) and Article 218(6) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 5 March 2015, the Council authorised the opening of negotiations for the conclusion of a Framework Agreement on Cooperation between the European Union and the United Nations in the context of their respective crisis management operations.\n(2)\nA Framework Agreement between the European Union and the United Nations for the Provision of Mutual Support in the context of their respective missions and operations in the field (the ‘Framework Agreement’) has been negotiated.\n(3)\nThe Framework Agreement should be approved on behalf of the Union,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
