  1. BAT 41In order to reduce the quantity of waste sent for disposal, especially of hazardous waste, BAT is to use the techniques (a) and (b) and one or both of the techniques (c) and (d) given below.
  2. BAT 42In order to reduce the environmental risk related to waste management, BAT is to store waste in suitable containers or on sealed surfaces and to keep hazardous waste separately in a designated weather-protected and contained/bunded area.
