Article 1

The position to be taken on the Union’s behalf within the Joint Customs Cooperation Committee (‘JCCC’) established by the Agreement between the European Community and Canada on Customs Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters, at the fifth meeting of the JCCC, as regards the mutual recognition of the Partners in Protection Programme of Canada and the Authorised Economic Operators Programme of the European Union, shall be based on the draft decision of the JCCC^f1.
