Article 1

The position to be taken on the Union’s behalf in the thirteenth meeting of Conference of the Parties shall be the following:

1. (a)

   to support the addition to Appendix I to the Convention of the following species:

   • Tetrax tetrax,

   • Elephas maximus indicus,

   • Panthera onca,

   • Ardeotis nigriceps,

   • Houbaropsis bengalensis bengalensis,

   • Diomedea antipodensis,

   • Carcharhinus longimanus;

2. (b)

   to support the addition to Appendix II to the Convention of the following species:

   • Tetrax tetrax,

   • Galeorhinus galeus,

   • Sphyrna zygaena (global population),

   • Panthera onca,

   • Ovis vignei.
