Division 3 Inspections of Category A waste facilities containing waste rocks

In addition to the relevant elements listed in Part D, the following shall be taken into consideration by the inspector where the inspection concerns Category A waste facilities that contain waste rocks:

1. (a)

   weathering of the rocks;

2. (b)

   seepage water quality and quantity;

3. (c)

   whether the measures taken to minimise the environmental impacts of waste rock facilities are adequate;

4. (d)

   correctness and effectiveness of recultivation activities based on relevant legal obligations.
