  "text": "Council Decision (EU) 2020/577\nof 24 April 2020\nappointing two alternate members, proposed by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, of the Committee of the Regions\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 305 thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal of the Dutch Government,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 10 December 2019, 20 January 2020, 3 February 2020 and 26 March 2020, the Council adopted Decisions (EU) 2019/2157, (EU) 2020/102, (EU) 2020/144 and (EU) 2020/511 appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from 26 January 2020 to 25 January 2025.\n(2)\nTwo alternate members’ seats have become vacant following the end of the terms of office of Ms Christianne VAN DER WAL – ZEGGELINK and Mr Johannes Gerrit KRAMER,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
