  "text": "Council Decision (CFSP) 2020/794\nof 16 June 2020\namending Decision (CFSP) 2018/101 on the promotion of effective arms export controls\nTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,\nHaving regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Articles 28(1) and 31(1) thereof,\nHaving regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,\nWhereas:\n(1)\nOn 22 January 2018, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2018/101, which provides for a 30-month implementation period from the date of conclusion of the financing agreement referred to in that Decision, for the activities referred to in Article 1 thereof.\n(2)\nOn 30 April 2020, the Bundesamt für Wirtschaft und Ausfuhrkontrolle, in its capacity as the Implementing Agency, requested the authorisation of the Union to extend the implementation of Decision (CFSP) 2018/101 until 30 November 2020 due to challenges arising from the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.\n(3)\nThe continuation of the activities referred to in Article 1 of Decision (CFSP) 2018/101 can be performed without any financial resource implication until 30 November 2020.\n(4)\nDecision (CFSP) 2018/101 should therefore be amended accordingly,\nHAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:",
