  1. 1The vines in stock nurseries and cutting nurseries may only be planted in soil or, where appropriate, in pots with growing media, free from any pests which may host the viruses listed in Section 7. Freedom from such pests shall be established by sampling and testing.
  2. 2Sampling and testing shall not be carried out when the official control authority concludes on the basis of an official inspection that the soil is free from any pests which may host the viruses listed in Section 7.
